Dillon is the reason for all the other Springers we have and have helped.  When we decided to get a dog we had no idea what we wanted, all we knew was we didn't want a Chihuahua or a St. Bernard, we wanted a midsize dog.  We looked at a nearby shelter several times, unable to make a decision.  Until we saw in the very last cage a young Springer with a sign on the cage saying I can't see you but I can love you.  She stole our hearts and we took her home, her visual handicap did not effect her life in any way.  There was nothing she could not do.  Her pleasant manner and extreme intelligence was more than we ever expected to find in a dog, and so began our love of Springers.
